Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of My Profile Pilot, a software product of My Barista Trainer (“My Profile Pilot”, “we”, “us”), including the website at myprofilepilot.com, the web app, the WordPress plugin and the embed script (the “Service”). By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

My Profile Pilot helps local businesses manage their Google Business Profile: scheduled photo and update publishing, one-click profile optimizations, review replies, and synchronization of LocalBusiness schema and business hours on your website. The Service uses Google’s official Business Profile APIs with the permission you grant.

2. Your account and authorization

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You may connect only Google Business Profiles that you own or are authorized to manage, and you are responsible for the content you publish through the Service (photos, captions, descriptions, review replies).
• You must comply with Google’s Business Profile guidelines and Terms of Service. Google may reject or remove content at its discretion; we are not responsible for Google’s decisions.
• Keep your WordPress administrator and Google accounts secure. You are responsible for activity under them.

3. Plans, billing, renewals and cancellation

• Autopilot — $49 USD per year. A subscription billed annually in advance through Stripe. It renews automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel. We will email you a reminder before each renewal.
• One-Time Optimizer — $79 USD. A single payment for the optimization features. It does not renew and does not include the ongoing photo drip.
• Cancel anytime. You can cancel Autopilot at any time from the Stripe customer billing portal linked in your receipt, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the year you already paid for.
• Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, effective at your next renewal.

4. 14-day refund policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on every purchase and every annual renewal. If you are not satisfied, email [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will issue a full refund to your original payment method — no questions asked. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Free demo

Demo Mode uses sample data and never contacts Google. It is provided free of charge and “as is”.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for spam, fake reviews, misleading business information or keyword stuffing that violates Google’s guidelines; attempt to access profiles you are not authorized to manage; interfere with or reverse-engineer the Service’s servers; or resell the hosted Service without our written permission.

7. Intellectual property and licenses

The My Profile Pilot WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. The website, web app, OAuth bridge, branding and documentation are owned by My Barista Trainer. You keep all rights to your content and business data; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party services including Google APIs, Stripe and our hosting provider. Their availability and terms are outside our control. My Profile Pilot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic, number of reviews or business result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or data.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you publish through the Service or your violation of these Terms or Google’s policies.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which My Barista Trainer is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify customers by email at least 14 days in advance.
