How My Profile Pilot uses the Google Business Profile API

When you choose “Sign in with Google”, My Profile Pilot requests a single permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage (“See, edit, create and delete your Google business listings”). We use it only for the four features below, and only for the business locations you select. Every change is either a button you click or a photo you placed in your own publishing queue.

1. Anti-Dormant Photo & Update Drip

Queue 4–10 photos once. Each photo is resized in your browser to a 1200×900 JPG and automatically published on the schedule you choose (weekly or every 14 days) as a Google Business Profile photo and “What’s new” update with a caption and call-to-action button — so your profile never looks inactive.

Google API actions: upload location media; create local posts. Only photos you added to your queue are published.

2. 1-Click Profile & Service Area Optimizer

A live 0–100% Profile Health Score that only shows what still needs fixing. Brick-and-mortar businesses configure regular, holiday and special hours; service-area businesses calculate their Main + 19 surrounding cities within a 2-hour drive. Categories, a 750-character description, UTM-tagged links and call-tracking numbers are fixed with one click each.

Google API actions: read your location details; update hours, special hours, service area, categories, description, website link, phone numbers and attributes — only when you click “Apply fix”.

3. 1-Click Review Responder

See your unanswered Google reviews right in your website dashboard, with a natural reply draft for each. Edit it if you like, then post with one click. Answered reviews disappear from the inbox.

Google API actions: list reviews for your location; post the reply you approve. We never post a reply automatically.

4. 2-Way Website LocalBusiness JSON-LD Schema Sync

Your website’s LocalBusiness schema and business-hours badges stay in sync with your Google Business Profile automatically — on WordPress (plugin), and on Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and Shopify with a single script tag.

Google API actions: read your business name, address, phone and hours to publish them on your own website.

Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use

My Profile Pilot's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell, rent, share, or use your Google Business Profile data for advertising, AI model training, or any purpose other than executing the profile optimizations, scheduled posts, media uploads, and review responses explicitly initiated by you. Read our Privacy Policy.

You can disconnect at any time from the dashboard or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Universal embed

Wix, Webflow, Squarespace & Shopify: one line of code

Paste one script tag into your site’s custom code (header) to get automatic LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema, then drop <div data-mpp-hours></div> wherever you want a live “Open now” hours badge. Use the same 3-card dashboard at myprofilepilot.com/app.html.

On WordPress? Install the plugin — schema is injected automatically and [mpp_business_hours] shows your hours.

<!-- Site header / custom code -->
<script src="https://myprofilepilot.com/embed.js?id=BIZ_ID" defer></script>

<!-- Anywhere on the page -->
<div data-mpp-hours></div>

Questions

Will My Profile Pilot change my profile without asking?

No. Profile changes and review replies only happen when you click a button. The only automatic action is publishing photos that you placed in your own drip queue, on the schedule you chose — and you can remove any queued photo at any time.

Can I try it without connecting Google?

Yes. Demo Mode loads a sample business so you can try every feature. Nothing is sent to Google in Demo Mode.

Where is my data stored?

On WordPress, your settings and photo queue live in your own WordPress database. In the web app, they stay in your browser. Our servers do not keep a database of your Google data. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data or disconnect?

Click “Disconnect” in the dashboard (this revokes our access token), remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and uninstall the plugin or clear the app’s site data. Email support and we’ll confirm deletion of anything associated with you, including billing records we are not legally required to keep.
